Setkání je součástí série Idea ženy. Dvě postavy sdílejí prostor, aniž by sdílely okamžik. Jedna se dívá ven, druhá dolů - mezi nimi vyrůstá ze spodní části kompozice cosi mechanického a květinového, jako by setkání již přineslo něco, co ani jedna z nich nezamýšlela. Červená je drží pohromadě. Kompozice je drží od sebe.
O autorovi
Denys Chumachenko is a painter based in Spain.
His work moves between abstraction and the figure — bodies that don't fully resolve, forms assembled from gesture, color, and spatial tension rather than narrative.
Over ten years of practice, he has developed a visual language where the figure becomes a field of internal states: present but unstable, recognizable but not fixed.
Working primarily in oil and acrylic on wood, he builds surfaces that carry weight through color and gesture rather than illustration.
His works are held in private collections across Europe and have been shown in group exhibitions in Spain, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
